Empowering Youth Through Snowsports Programming

Educating, promoting and supporting

Continuing a tradition dating back to the 1880's, the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation (CBSF) is dedicated to educating, promoting, and supporting amateur snowsports in the Gunnison Valley. CBSF raises funds and provides both need- and merit-based scholarships to aspiring competitive skiers and snowboarders. In addition, the Foundation collaborates with strategic partners to attract and organize high-quality ski and snowboard events and programs that benefit local athletes, support the Foundation’s mission, and enrich the broader Gunnison Valley community.

Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation is committed to continuing Paden’s passion for teaching local kids to ski at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort to offer the Paden Castles Kelley Memorial Scholarship for the Mini-Cruisers, Cruisers, and Mountain Adventures programs.

Donate here To give every Gunnison Valley youth the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and connection of snowsports.
