I have lived in the Gunnison Valley since 1997 when I came to attend Western State College (University now). This valley captured my heart and I never left. My husband Bobby is the Maintenance Manager for Mt. Crested Butte and has taught skiing in Crested Butte for 24 years! We have two amazing children who are avid skiers just like us-maybe more so! 

I am the Math Specialist/Interventionist at Crested Butte Elementary School. I have taught at the school for 23 years and I still love it! My passions are my family, teaching and skiing. I recently got brave and started playing hockey- I am pretty terrible, but I have a blast trying! 

I am passionate about snowsports and this passion led me to be a part of the CBSF to help more kids have access to snow sports. Growing up in Bailey, I loved skiing but it was a chore for my family to get me to the slopes. They always managed to scrounge up 40$ to get me to Breckenridge on Saturdays for our ski team practices-it was a big ask as money was tight. I am forever grateful that they did this for me. I want to pay it forward and help to get any kid that wants to participate in a snowsport out there!
