Sarah Stubbe has been a resident of Crested Butte since 1999, after a few years in West Virginia and attending the University of Florida previous to that. Her love of the mountains and skiing stems solely from her adult life and now consumes her throughout the year. Her hope in serving as co-President for the CB Snowsports Foundation is to advocate for and increase access to snow sports for all in the Gunnison valley, and to continue to promote this healthy lifestyle for kids of all ages and backgrounds.

Her son, Henry, is a constant inspiration and reminder that our mountain lifestyle is one to be celebrated and respected every day. 

Sarah's role as Practice Administrator for Gunnison Valley Orthopedics and the GVH Specialty Clinics keeps her busy throughout the week, and she is also an active Board member and founder of the GO Initiative, another local non-profit. In any spare time she can find, she enjoys chasing Henry on his skis and mountain bike, and spending as much time as possible with her incredible friends and family.
