Dig the 80’s vibe? Scott first set ski to snow in Crested Butte in the 1985/86 ski season. Being a regular visitor to CB in both winter and summer led he and his wife to living full time in Crested Butte in 2019, just in time for a worldwide pandemic.
Professionally, Scott worked 20+ years in the management consulting industry, both nationally and internationally. He also started two non-profits, served on city council in two different cities and finished his career in Crested Butte working for Toad Property Management, managing 23 of their 45 HOA’s.
Scott was drawn to working with the Crested Butte Snow Sports foundation after his son Paden passed away after a short battle with cancer. Paden was a ski instructor for the Mountain Adventures and Cruisers youth programs and loved working with those kids as much as they loved him. CBSF is honored to continue Paden’s legacy of helping the Gunnison Valley youth learn to ski through the Paden Castles Kelley Memorial Scholarship.
